
The Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) is inviting members of the investment and private sector innovation communities to participate in an industry engagement event introducing the
Department of the Navy’s recently established Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) in Washington, DC on 09 December 2025, 1300 to 1700 (EST) and in Arlington, VA on 10 December 2025, 0900 to 1200 (EST).
This RCO event will include two related sessions that will cover the Department of the Navy’s (DoN) most pressing challenges, detail the RCO’s collaborative approach with industry to address these needs, and provide information on newly established pathways for engagement with the RCO.
1. RCO Kick Off Event Industry Day
09 December 2025 (1300 to 1700 EST) | Washington, DC

• Classification Level: UNCLASSIFIED
2. RCO Investment Community Executive Briefing
10 December 2025 (0900 to 1200 EST) | Arlington, VA
• Participants: Investment Community Representatives
• Classification Level: SECRET
The RCO welcomes existing and new industry partners, without prejudice to companies with limited Government contracting experience. Potential partners with strong technical competence in their particular field may be successful with a high willingness to learn.
Follow-on Interaction
The RCO anticipates subsequent opportunities for one-on-one conversations with industry partners and to explore relevant capabilities in more detail at later dates; however, those follow-on programs, schedules, and timelines are in development and subject to change.

This CLASSIFIED event may include information classified up to the SECRET level.
ATTENDEES MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- POSSESS AT LEAST A SECRET CLEARANCE - HOLD CITIZENSHIP IN THE US - REPRESENT A COMPANY HEADQUARTERED IN US - REPRESENT A US BASED INVESTMENT ENTITY
Audio or visual recordings of any kind are prohibited.
On-site Visitors must also present one of the identifications listed below for entry:
- REAL ID-compliant driver's license.
- Valid U.S. Passport or Passport Card.
- Valid U.S. Government Common Access Card (CAC), U.S. Military Identification Card,
Personal Identification Verification Card, or Military retiree or Dependent ID card.
- Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551).
Attendance will be limited to two people per company (each much register individually). Registration will close on 03 December 2025, 1200 EST, or when we reach max capacity,
whichever comes first.
