
NOTICE OF VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY
This letter is an advance notice that the General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) intends to release a Request
for Proposal (RFP) in May 2026. This RFP is for the GSA Office of the Chief Information Officer’s (OCIO) Acquisition & Ordering Systems, or AOS.
The purpose of this acquisition is to support the GSA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Acquisition IT Services organization, by providing services that support the operation,
Site Reliability Engineering, minor enhancements, and ongoing agile development of new business system features of selected systems within the GSA IT, Office of Acquisition IT Portfolio.
The Government seeks an industry partner that can perform the following:
● Operational Excellence - Operate and maintain all applications in accordance with the attached Application Inventory and Profile.
● Performance - Eliminate performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies to facilitate scalability.
● Elasticity - Possess the capability for both vertical and horizontal scaling.
● Resilience - Integrate capabilities for monitoring, alerting, and reporting on critical system functions and processes to ensure intended execution, and to perform automatic failover in the event of a malfunction.
● Security - Incorporate security features directly into the application, reducing reliance on perimeter defenses such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
The purpose of this letter is to notify Industry Partners (IP) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services that a Virtual Industry Day will be held on January 29th, through Google Meets. The presentation will begin promptly at 10:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) and end at 12:30 pm ET or earlier if all questions have been addressed.
Please test the equipment before the start time. The purpose of this Virtual Industry Day will be for the Government to summarize the overall GSA IT AOS vision as well as to provide details regarding the current requirements. Attendance is not a prerequisite for receipt of the final solicitation package or ability to submit a proposal.
Each interested IP shall email the GSA AAS Contracting Officer, Amanda Ayers, at amanda.ayers@gsa.gov as well as the AAS Contract Specialist, Rafael Santana, at rafael.santana@gsa.gov no later than 2:00 PM ET on January 14, 2026. In the email, the interested party should include the following information: company name, Point of Contact (POC) name, POC email address, POC phone number, and names of additional individuals who will view the presentation.
Please note that Industry Day attendance is limited to three (3) individuals per IP team.
The Google Meets invitation link will be provided to the attendees no later than January 27, 2026.

The Government will allow IPs to submit questions in the chat for a period of 20 minutes. No questions will be accepted after 20 minutes of the final brief.
These questions will be answered via email to all parties in attendance.
