BACKGROUND:

The USSS JJRTC contracts for repair and construction projects generally ranging from $25,000 to $4,000,000. Projects include a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property at JJRTC and other nearby locations.

Types of projects may include:

Renovations within occupied buildings
• Design and installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Renovation or repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Architectural renovations which would include tile, painting, carpet replacement, drop
ceiling, LED lighting, and furniture
• Maintenance or repair of situations relating to the building envelope,
• Site work – including asphalt paving and concrete work
• Constructing prefabricated buildings,
• Fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems

ELIGIBILITY:

This is a small business event targeted to small businesses as described in the Small Business Administration (SBA) Table of Size Standards for the North American Industry
Classification System (NAICS) code(s) shown in the table below.

Registration:

Capacity has been reached - all other interesed vendors will be placed on a waitlist.  Thank you for your interest in this opportunity.

Space is limited. No more than 20 construction contractor firms classified as a small business under NAICS 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, limited to a maximum of two (2) representatives per firm, can be accommodated in the meeting space.

We will respond to requests in the order received. Registration will continue until participation is at maximum capacity but not later than Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

The event is at the USSS JJRTC campus. Only U.S. citizens or foreign nationals with permanent residence in the United States can be registered as visitors.

All attendees will be required to complete the highlighted fields on the security spreadsheet that will be provided once firms have been approved to attend.
Attendees must have a government issued identification such as a driver’s license or passport.


EVENT DETAILS:
Each company attending will have 15 minutes to orally present the company capabilities and answers to the following. Each contractor should have three (3) copies of their company’s capability statement addressing the following. Capability statements are limited to seven (7) pages.


Capability Statements:
1. Include the following company information: point of contact, business category (8a,HUB zone, woman owned, etc.), Cage code.
2. Bonding and performance capacity. Provide your firm’s bonding capacity for single awards and in total. Describe your company’s performance capacity in terms of annual dollars and projects.
3. Working at Government facility. Describe your company’s experience working at government facilities and ability to submit personnel for clearance.
4. Existing in-house capability versus subcontracted capability. Provide information regarding in-house and subcontracted capability such as:
a. Project management
b. Quality control
c. Superintendent
d. Design
e. Self-performing construction services
5. Teaming partners/subcontractors. List companies you have worked with in the past. List projects you have completed together.
6. Managing multiple projects and surge capability. Describe the company’s capability to manage multiple projects and surge ability. Provide:
a. How would you handle being awarded several projects?
b. What is your surge capability?
c. What is your hiring and mentoring process?
7. Experience. Submit three (3) design-build or design-build-build project ranging from $50,000 to $4,000,000 to demonstrate experience with project information included in the
