The SBTDC, in partnership with the USDA Forest Service, Virginia APEX Accelerator, and Tennessee APEX Accelerator, is hosting two Industry Day sessions across North Carolina focused on connecting contractors with USDA Forest Service contracting opportunities, including civil construction and service-based work related to Hurricane Helene recovery.

This is a new chapter from the November 2025 Industry Day. The April sessions will cover both civil construction and service-based contracting opportunities with the USDA Forest Service. New civil construction opportunities in roads, bridges, culverts, earthwork, and related infrastructure will be a major focus, along with updates on service-based contracting for maintenance, environmental, and forestry work across the Forest Service disaster footprint in North Carolina and the surrounding region.

Each session features interactive presentations with live Q&A from Forest Service contracting officers and program managers, updated information on current and upcoming solicitations, and networking time for contractors to connect with potential teaming partners.

Who Should Attend

These events are designed for contractors in civil construction, environmental services, forestry, facilities maintenance, and related trades, including highway and road construction, bridge construction, culvert installation, site preparation, grading, excavation, concrete, structural steel, drainage, demolition, general construction, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, surveying, and trucking/hauling  

What to Do Before You Attend

Ensure your SAM.gov registration is current and includes the appropriate NAICS codes for your trade. If you need help with SAM.gov registration, assistance will be available at the event.
