The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) will host an in-person Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Industry Day on December 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1.00 PM Eastern at itsWashington, DC, facility. This event will provide vendors with insight into BEP’s ongoing IT modernization initiatives, including—but not limited to—Manufacturing Execution System enhancements, enterprise architecture, data and analytics platforms, and strategic technology integration across mission-critical business functions.
Purpose
BEP seeks vendors capable of supporting the MES and other IT enterprise programs through comprehensive operational support, maintenance, and continuous optimization of its existing manufacturing and enterprise systems. Key areas of focus include:
• Advancing enterprise data governance and enabling self-service analytics
• Establishing an AI governance and implementation program
• Enhancing horizontal and vertical connectivity across BEP and its extended enterprise
• Improving alignment between financial and government reporting
• Supporting the transition to on-demand, cloud-hosted application ecosystems
Contractors must demonstrate expertise in legacy MES platforms, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)/Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments, and cloud-native services, with the ability to
deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. Daily operations must be supported with robust compliance, measurable performance improvements, and structured governance checkpoints.
