DLA Disposition Services Is holding an Industry Day forum focused on Contracting Industry Engagement.


This event is being held in held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Battle Creek, MI


Wednesday May 20 th and Thursday May 21 st, 2026

8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST

The Defense Logistics Agency must operate on a wartime footing amid the contested logistics environment in which we live. This industry engagement event is meant to strengthen readiness and accelerate innovation in support of the Warfighter, so that DLA can continue to provide world class support to our uniformed customers.


DLA Disposition Services Contracting topics will include a variety of subjects related to:
 Small Business
 Operational Contracting
 Hazardous Waste Disposal Contracting
 Public Sales Contracting
 Useable Surplus Material
 Government Scrap Contracts

Event Cancellation - In the event that Event is unable to operate, in the sole determination of DLA Disposition Services, whether due to Acts of God, force majeure, pandemic, epidemic, terrorism, war, illness, public safety, strike, civil commotion, fire or state of other occurrence not under the control of DLA Disposition Services, or otherwise,

DLA Disposition Services may cancel, postpone or terminate Event, the attendee waives any and all claims the attendee may have against DLA Disposition Services for damages or expenses.

Requirements for DoD Contractor Personnel, Official Visitors, and Others Seeking Access to Facilities Official Visitors


a. Official visitors will complete a security clearance at least 30 days prior to entering the premises.
b. Official visitors will follow applicable policies and procedures of both DoD and the Department or
Agency they are visiting, if different from DoD.
c. Visitors to Federal Buildings:
1. Must have a valid picture ID (State Issued ID or Passport).
2. Required to submit to a security screening.
d. Prohibited Items.
1. Guns/Firearms
2. Bladed, Edged, or sharp Objects
3. Club like / Striking Devices
4. Explosives / Incendiaries / Disabling Chemicals or Other Dangerous Items


This event is being conducted per FAR 10.002, no unsolicited proposals will be accepted during this event.
