Industry partners are invited to register for the Naval Aviation North Stars Broad Area Announcement 2025 Industry Day and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)s, taking place onboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, MD on Feb. 19-20, 2025.

The kick-off will be held at the NAS Patuxent River Base Theater, in the morning on the first day, Feb. 19, at the collateral Secret level. TIMs will be held in the afternoon of the first day and the following day at additional security levels.  These TIMs will allow a more targeted discussion with smaller groups, which will include program executive office (PEO) staffs, program office (PMA) integrated product teams (IPT) and subject matter experts (SMEs) from the government and industry, all at a classified level, to highlight specific challenges and discuss potential solutions to fill capability gaps related to Naval Aviation North Stars.
The Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) Capability North Stars include, but are not limited to:

  • Force Employment

  • Long Range Fires (LRF)

  • Carrier Air Wing - Strike Fighter and 4th / 5th Generation Aircraft Integration / Unmanned Carrier Aviation / Manned-Unmanned Teaming

  • Maritime Intelligence Surveillance, Reconnaissance (MISR)

The TIMs are focused, working-level interactions between government and industry to discuss key topic areas in the context of the typical CVN/CVW operations phases: (1) mission planning, pre-flight and launch; (2) departure, tanking, and maneuver; (3) kill chain execution; (4) return and recovery. Outcomes expected from the TIMs are: 1) close warfighting capability gaps; 2) improve communication with industry; 3) foster competition; and 4) elicit companies to submit focused and relevant white papers in response to the NANS BAA.

For this Industry Day, the kick-off is limited to three people per company, and all are required to validate SECRET clearance or above in order to attend both the kick-off and the TIMs.
